On Friday, August 22, Bruce Waibel along with his son Mark and one of their engineers, Ray, travelled to West Brooklyn, IL to attend a demo day Farmwave was hosting for new dealers and partners.
Solid Rock Ag Solutions is a family-owned business located near Remington, Indiana, primarily serving farmers in the Indiana counties of Jasper, Benton, Newton, White, Tippecanoe, Pulaski, Carroll and Clinton.
Founded by Bruce & Jody Waibel, who began farming full-time in 1986, Solid Rock Ag originated in 2004 as a Precision Planting dealer, selling, installing, and servicing their yield-boosting planter enhancements.
Currently, we have a staff of 11 operating in a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse and shop. Mark Waibel, Bruce & Jody’s son, is now co-owner of the business and also helps on what is now a five-generation family farm.
After a few hours going over the Farmwave Harvest Vision System, we went to visit Solid Rock Ag the following Monday at their home in Remington, IN.
We spent some time together at Farm Progress during the rest of that week, and decided to partner together.
In 2023, Solid Rock Ag began building custom planters. Sourcing components from Harvest International and Precision Planting, they can build the planter of your dreams, to your exact specifications!
And in 2024, after testing them in their own fields, they added GTS aluminum combine heads.
